Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse for a night shift Telemetry/ICU PRN role. The nurse will assess, plan, direct, and evaluate patient care, following physician orders and maintaining patient privacy.

Requires ADN or Nursing Diploma, RN license with no sanctions, 2+ years ICU/Telemetry experience, BLS/ACLS; BSN preferred. Night differential benefits apply; free parking and referrals available.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse without sanctions.
• 2+ years RN experience in Telemetry/ICU, or 2+ years related healthcare positions.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS preferred.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize, and provide age-specific nursing care using advanced clinical knowledge.
• Follow physician's orders in delivery of nursing care.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality of information and records.
• Adhere to infection control, isolation procedures and aseptic techniques.
• Collect laboratory samples and perform lab testing per policies and CLIA/COLA regs.
• Perform admission, discharge and transfer procedures.
• Assemble equipment and supplies for procedures and assist others.
• Comply with state hospital policies and nursing standards.
