Responsibilities include planning and documenting care, using evidence-based practices, and collaborating with the interprofessional team. This is a full-time night shift with rotating weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• RN license required in the state where services are provided or a multi-state license via eNLC.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Delivers nursing care using the nursing process with self and delegated providers.
• Assesses patient data and develops plans of care across life span.
• Ensures patient safety and continuity of care through documentation and handoff tools.
• Educates patients based on learning needs and individual differences.
• Performs comprehensive patient assessments and documentation; uses teach-back to confirm understanding.
• Applies evidence-based nursing practices and participates in patient-centered care models.
• Documents problems and issues in the care plan and supports growth in care for complex patients.
• Maintains accountability for delegated care and recognizes scope of practice for all team members.
• Incorporates ANA code of ethics and culturally sensitive data collection in practice.
• Assesses family dynamics and their impact on health and wellness, including interactions with the interprofessional team.
• Adapts to variations in workload and scheduling; maintains composure under stress.
