Job summary

Thomas Memorial Hospital in Charleston, WV is seeking an experienced RN for Mother Baby and Labor & Delivery. This full-time night shift role delivers comprehensive inpatient maternity care, with cross-training to multiple units and a focus on safe, high-quality outcomes.

You will apply the nursing process, develop individualized plans, educate families, and collaborate with the interprofessional team to promote best practices and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in WV or multi-state via eNLC.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire date.
• Minimum of 1 year RN experience.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for mother-baby patients in an inpatient setting.
• Modify care plans based on assessments and patient needs.
• Use evidence-based practice to guide patient care.
• Delegate according to scope of practice and document care.
• Educate patients and families; ensure safety and quality of care.
