Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which services will be provided or current multi-state Registered Nurse license through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
• Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date.
• Less than 12 months of experience as a registered nurse.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates safety and continuity of care using documentation and handoff tools.
• Creates plan of care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnoses, intervention, evaluation.
• Recognizes patient safety concerns and delegates care appropriately.
• Provides education based on patient learning needs.
• Integrates ANA code of ethics into nursing practice.
• Performs patient assessments and documentation.
• Demonstrates teach-back to evaluate education.
