Job summary

UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion in Aurora, CO is seeking a Critical Care Overnight Clinical Pharmacist to coordinate and provide comprehensive medication management for critically ill patients across ICUs and progressive care units. This onsite role operates on a seven on/seven off third shift, integrating with physicians and nursing staff to optimize therapies.

The position requires a PharmD, state licensure, and CC experience; PGY2 CC or PGY1 with critical care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited school.
• State licensure as Pharmacist and any relevant life support certification as determined at position level.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide comprehensive medication management for critical care patients.
• Cover ICUs including burn, cardiovascular, cardiothoracic, medical, neuro, and surgical/trauma units.
• Work with physicians, nursing staff and other pharmacists to optimize therapies and minimize toxicities.
• Participate in therapeutic interchanges and provide drug information to professionals and students.
