Job summary

Aptar Group in Mukwonago, WI is hiring a Process Technician for night shift. You will set up, adjust and troubleshoot injection molding machines and related equipment on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule (6:20pm–6:30am). Requires 2–5 years in plastics with knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and electronics.

Be prepared to document changes, work with process engineers, and maintain a safe, organized work area. High school diploma required; retention bonus up to $5,000 and corporate university training

Qualifications

• Requires 2-5 years of work experience and knowledge of plastic and plastic processing.
• Knowledge of how an injection-molding machine works.
• Understand and have good knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and electronics.

Responsibilities

• Setup and troubleshooting of injection molding machines and related equipment.
• Use of O.P.M. 20 system to troubleshoot process problems and documentation of any process changes.
• Work with the process Engineer to establish the process control limits.
• Communicate any process changes to the operator/inspector so they can perform any inspection per ISO requirements.
• Perform daily housekeeping to provide a clean and safe work environment.
