Qualifications

• BSN or ADN with commitment to obtain BSN within 5 years
• Licensed as an Ohio RN
• Current CPR certification
• Willing to obtain NRP/PALS/ACLS/APHON or other required certifications

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care using a Family Centered approach.
• Assesses individualized patient needs and communicates care priorities to LPNs, PCAs, unit coordinators, and allied health staff.
• Plans, implements, educates and evaluates care using evidence-based practices.
• Utilizes Therapeutic Communication while monitoring patient and family needs.
• Participates in workplace initiatives, data collection/auditing, and quality improvement.
• Documents according to organizational standards and procedures.

Education

BSN or Associate degree with commitment to obtain BSN within 5 years of hire

Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio

Current CPR certification

Willing to obtain NRP, PALS, ACLS, APHON or other certification as determined by manager
