Job summary

Amcor LLC is seeking a Mechanic to maintain and repair a variety of equipment in an industrial manufacturing setting. You will troubleshoot electronic, electromechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and optic systems to ensure high-quality products.

The role requires reading programmable controller information to diagnose complex problems and performing safe installations of belts, pulleys, and related components. The position emphasizes safety, log-keeping, and teamwork with maintenance staff.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years in industrial maintenance/manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Electrical background preferred.
• Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity with hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, remove and replace electronic, electromechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and optic systems.
• Read PLC information to diagnose complex problems.
• Replace belts, pulleys, cables, chains, bearings, gears and related equipment.
• Log all work performed accurately.
• Operate a forklift, scissor lift and pallet jack safely.
• Follow lockout/tagout and safety procedures.
