Job summary

Jean Simpson Personnel Services is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for night shift in Shreveport, LA. You will perform hands-on machinery maintenance, electrical and mechanical repairs, and preventive maintenance to keep production running safely.

The role requires strong problem-solving skills, ability to read blueprints and schematics, and the capacity to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing plant.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of machinery maintenance and electrical experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic skills.
• Ability to read equipment manuals, blueprints, schematics; perform root-cause analysis.
• Able to work independently and in a team; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform senior-level mechanical and electrical repairs on production and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures; interpret manuals and schematics.
• Carry out preventive maintenance to ensure uptime of production equipment.
• Coordinate maintenance with plant supervisors and report status to the maintenance manager.
• Operate tools safely and maintain equipment files and parts inventory.
