Job summary

Software Placement Group in Buxton, ND is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to keep production equipment running smoothly. You will troubleshoot machines, perform repairs on DC/AC motors and drives, and support preventive maintenance and continuous improvement projects.

The role requires 2+ years in industrial maintenance, strong electrical knowledge, and the ability to work night shifts, weekends, and on-call duties. Overtime is available and PPE compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in industrial maintenance, electrical systems.
• Experience reading electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical drawings.
• Familiarity with NEC, UL508A, NFPA 79.
• Lockout/Tagout and arc flash safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair machines and controls, including motors and drives.
• Maintain preventive maintenance and PM/repair work orders.
• Order replacement parts and manage spares from suppliers.
• Support continuous improvement and safety initiatives in the plant.
• Work 40+ hours per week, including weekends and on-call duties.
