Job summary

Univertical LLC in Angola, IN, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join its on-site team. You will troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems on production and facility equipment, supporting a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires a multi-craft background with mechanical and electrical skills, reading blueprints, and strong teamwork. The schedule is Sunday–Wednesday, 5:00 PM–5:00 AM, with a $1.50 night shift differential and competitive

Qualifications

2–4 years of hands-on maintenance experience in manufacturing.
Mechanical and electrical repair across production equipment.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on mills, lathes, furnaces, and more.
Install, align, and swap motors, pumps, conveyors, and valves; replace failed motors.
Work with electrical systems up to 480V three-phase; ensure high-voltage safety.
Support fabrication tasks with welding, cutting, grinding as needed.
Communicate across shifts and document repairs.
Make sound calls off-hours to keep lines running.
Follow safety, PPE, lockout/tagout, and chemical-handling procedures.
