Job summary

ATI seeks an Industrial Maintenance Technician for its Monroe, NC melt facility to maintain and repair plant equipment and support production on a rotating 2-2-3 night schedule from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am. The role focuses on keeping equipment operational to meet production goals and customer needs.

You will read blueprints, troubleshoot hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems, perform preventative maintenance, and work safely with welding and fabrication tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• General HS Diploma / GED
• At least two (2) years of trade school or equivalent experience in industrial mechanical or electrical is required

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair plant equipment and accessories.
• Troubleshoot using manuals, schematics, and diagrams to diagnose problems.
• Safely install and upgrade 3-phase motor control systems and AC/DC circuits.
• Understand fluid power systems; troubleshoot, install, and repair power units, valves, cylinders, motors, pumps.
• Perform basic fabrication by cutting and welding operations.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment using standard practices and procedures.
• Maintain work areas, tools, and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Follow all company and equipment safety guidelines and ethics rules.
• Maintain lift truck operator's license, main lift, and other material handling equipment.
