Job summary

ATI in Monroe, NC seeks an Industrial Maintenance Technician to support production by keeping equipment operational and meeting production goals. You will inspect, troubleshoot, repair, replace, install, and maintain mechanical systems, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and steam systems, and read drawings/blueprints to implement modifications.

Qualifications

• Must have a General HS Diploma or GED and at least two years of trade school or equivalent experience in industrial mechanical or electrical.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings/blueprints and make necessary modifications.
• Experience with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and steam systems; knowledge of power transmission and relay logic.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, replace, install and maintain plant equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and diagnose malfunctions.
• Read schematics and diagrams to diagnose problems and implement repairs.
• Safely install and maintain motor control systems, AC/DC circuits, and fluid power components.
• Fabricate basics via cutting and welding; maintain clean work areas and adhere to safety guidelines.
