Job summary

Smurfit Westrock is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Fort Worth, TX to maintain and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems across the plant. Duties include servicing corrugators, conveyors, and related equipment while ensuring safety and reliability.

The role involves shift work with potential overtime and weekends, and training on first shift as needed. The successful candidate will have strong mechanical/electrical skills, ability to read blueprints and schematics,

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and follow SOPs and instructions.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Comfort with physical tasks and lifting up to 75 lbs.
• Able to operate a variety of shop equipment safely.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain machines and plant equipment including conveyors, boilers, motors, and related systems.
• Perform routine maintenance, testing and repairs of electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
• Assist in plant rounds and report major concerns to leadership.
• Ensure work areas are clean and compliant with safety standards.
