Job summary
WestRock Company in Fort Worth TX is seeking a Maintenance Electrician for a 12-hour shift (6 pm–6 am) at our Container facility. The role includes installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in a manufacturing environment, with overtime potential.
Candidates should have 2–3 years of troubleshooting experience on industrial controls, knowledge of motors, drives, hydraulics and pneumatics, and ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
Qualifications
- 2–3 years in troubleshooting industrial electrical control systems down to component level.
- Operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery including motors, servos, pumps, drives, relays, 3-phase power, and communications.
- Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to install and set up both A/C and D/C drives.
- PLC troubleshooting and problem-solving with electrical aptitude.
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe electrical support, preventive maintenance, installation, service, and repair of equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues on multiple operating machines in a manufacturing environment.
- Provide rapid response to maintain productivity and safety.
