Job summary

The Technician - Maintenance 2 at Coca-Cola UNITED, Tennessee Valley, is responsible for supporting the safe and efficient production of products by troubleshooting and repairing equipment, and by performing preventative maintenance to ensure reliability. You will train teammates on technical processes and contribute to continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This role requires basic electrical work, experience with packaging lines, and willingness to work a 2-2-3 night

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18
• PPE as required by position and safety policies
• Must be able to read, write and speak English
• High school diploma or GED or 2–4 years related experience/training
• Willingness to work weekends/holidays/flexible schedule

Responsibilities

• Support production team as the mechanical expert
• Ensure production and support equipment function properly
• Perform preventive maintenance procedures
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions
• Make repairs or adjustments to equipment as needed
• Perform basic electrical duties (motors, switches, PE)
• Perform package changeovers on lines
• Train team members on mechanical processes
• Focus on continuous improvement
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment per ISO GMP standards
• Manage multiple projects and coordinate with teams and vendors
