Zusammenfassung

The Coca-Cola UNITED Louisiana division is seeking a Technician - Maintenance 1 to support safe and efficient production by troubleshooting and repairing equipment and performing preventative maintenance. The role trains teammates on technical processes and aims to improve reliability.

You will work Monday to Friday, 5pm to 5am, with some weekend work, and you’ll be part of a team focused on continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Baton Rouge, LA.

Qualifikationen

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must wear PPE and follow safety policies.
• Able to read, write and speak English.
• High school diploma or GED or 0-3 months related experience/training.
• Willingness to work weekends/holidays/flexible schedule.
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics is necessary.
• Experience with continuous motion packaging, filling and palletizing equipment.
• Ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Proficient with basic tools including wrenches, sockets, Allen wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers.
• Knowledge of metric and standard wrenches, sockets, and Allen wrenches; ability to drill and tap holes.

Aufgaben

• Support production as the mechanical expert.
• Ensure production and support equipment are functioning properly.
• Perform preventative maintenance procedures.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions.
• Make repairs or adjustments to equipment as needed.
• Perform basic electrical tasks (motors, switches, PE).
• Change over packaging lines as required.
• Support the team on all aspects of the operation.
• Train team members on mechanical processes.
• Focus on continuous improvement.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment per GMP standards.
• Manage multiple projects and coordinate with departments and vendors.
