Graham Packaging Company is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic based in West Chicago, IL, near St. Charles. This night-shift role operates 6:00 pm–6:00 am on a 12-hour schedule.

The starting wage is $33.60 per hour plus a $1.00 differential, with responsibilities spanning installation, repair, and preventive maintenance across production equipment and facilities. You will diagnose problems, perform repairs, read manuals, and provide trained support to production staff.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree is preferred.
• Minimum five years of industrial maintenance experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair production equipment and plant facilities.
• Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on machinery.
• Diagnose issues, replace parts, and test repairs.
• Provide emergency repairs as needed and scheduled maintenance.
• Read manuals and work orders to perform required tasks.
