MITER Brands in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial manufacturing equipment across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. This hands-on role requires strong problem-solving skills and a safety-first mindset.

Shift: Grave (10:00 PM – 6:30 AM) with overtime and occasional weekend work. Wage band: $36.00–$45.00 per hour, DOE. You will work with CMMS and collaborate with production to improve uptime and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing/industrial settings.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and technical docs.
• Use diagnostic tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters.
• Understand preventive maintenance practices.
• Proficient with CMMS (FiiX or similar).
• Can lift 50 lb unassisted and 100 lb with help.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial equipment including motors, PLCs, servos, sensors, switches, and pneumatics.
• Diagnose issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize reliability.
• Document maintenance activities and work orders in CMMS.
• Collaborate with production to improve performance and efficiency.
• Perform fabrication, welding, and modification as needed.
• Support facility maintenance, utilities, and grounds upkeep.
