Job summary

Dessert Holdings seeks an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for 3rd shift in Humble, TX. This role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production and facility equipment to maximize reliability and minimize downtime.

Ideal candidates will have PLC troubleshooting, 480V electrical systems, VFDs, and mechanical maintenance experience, with attention to food-safety standards and GMP compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience with a strong electrical focus or a two-year technical degree with hands-on maintenance experience.
• Hands-on PLC troubleshooting experience in an industrial manufacturing or automated equipment environment.
• Proven experience troubleshooting and repairing 480V electrical systems.
• Proven experience with VFDs and NPN/PNP sensors in complex automation and control systems.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical production equipment.
• Must be able to complete HACCP Certification.
• Forklift License or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of industrial maintenance activities, including electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair of production equipment.
• Troubleshoot PLCs and automated control systems, identify faults and diagnose issues.
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems up to 480 volts.
• Troubleshoot and maintain VFDs, sensors, motors, and motor controls.
• Read electrical diagrams, schematics, OEM drawings, and equipment manuals.
• Complete Preventive Maintenance activities to reduce downtime and improve reliability.
• Lead maintenance in assigned area teams and support line-centric teams.
• Document maintenance activities accurately in the CMMS system.
