Job summary

Mercury Plastics in Middlefield, Ohio is seeking a full-time maintenance technician for a 11 pm–7 am shift, Sunday–Thursday. Steady duties include safe operation, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance on production equipment to ensure quality output.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED, 3+ years in industrial maintenance, and experience with electrical systems, PLCs, pneumatics, and hydraulics. Valid driver’s license and ability to work across multiple sites are required.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Technical degree, certification, or equivalent trades training in electrical and/or fluid power is a plus.
• Valid Driver’s License with reliable transportation.
• Self-starter capable of working with minimal supervision.
• Electrical knowledge with PLCs, pneumatics, and hydraulics is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform all work safely and maintain a clean work area.
• Identify and resolve a wide variety of maintenance requests.
• Keep equipment in safe operating condition.
• Prioritize and manage multiple work areas and sites.
• Complete work orders, PM rounds, repairs, and general maintenance.
• Participate in safety and continuous improvement programs.
