Job summary

Fitesa is seeking a Reactive Maintenance Technician for a night shift in our non-climate controlled Simpsonville, SC facility. The role involves installing and maintaining production machines and plant equipment, diagnosing faults, and executing preventive maintenance.

You will work on mechanical and electrical systems, with overtime opportunities and safety as a priority. Benefits begin on Day 1, with a 2/2/3 rotation and a $2/hour night differential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's Degree in Mechatronics preferred.
• 1 year as an industrial maintenance technician in a manufacturing plant required.
• 3-5 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain production machines and plant facilities.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment.
• Support scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment.
• Perform simple machinist duties.
• Read and interpret schematics, manuals and work orders.
• Diagnose problems, replace/repair parts, and test adjustments.
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance on machines and facilities.
• Utilize appropriate hand and power tools and meters.
