Job summary

Standard Textile is seeking a Night Shift Maintenance Technician (Electrical/Mechanical) to perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on all equipment at our facility in Union, South Carolina. The role focuses on troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, PLC drives and VFDs, and maintaining spare parts inventory while upholding safety policies and a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required, Associate's degree in Industrial Electricity/Electronics preferred
• 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance (including welding) is preferred
• Knowledge of 3-phase motor wiring, starters and electrical systems required
• Knowledge of PLC programming, drives and control systems preferred
• Ability to lift, carry and push/pull light and heavy materials
• Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stand, crawl, and walk

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot & repair equipment malfunctions
• Perform preventative maintenance to the building and machines
• Perform work related to PLC drives and VFD (variable frequency drives)
• Maintain spare part inventory
• Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
