Job summary

Armstrong World Industries is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Tech for the night shift in Johnstown, OH. You will handle electrical and mechanical maintenance, predictive and preventive tasks, and lead special projects to improve equipment and facilities.

The role requires 5+ years in industrial settings, machining/fabrication experience, and strong troubleshooting across hydraulics, presses, and automation. Night shift schedule may include overtime.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in an industrial environment.
• Experience with machining and fabrication.
• Strong troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment.
• Experience with Electrical/Mechanical Presses, Hydraulics and Combustion.
• Mechanical tool and die experience.
• Automation equipment experience.
• Ability to work with conveyors and gear drives; pumps and pneumatics.

Responsibilities

• Follow all Company and OSHA safe work practices and procedures; wear PPE.
• Provide electrical/mechanical and technical support to minimize downtime.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and diagnose equipment used in manufacturing.
• Maintain machinery including perforators, CNC turret presses, presses, routers, welders, drills, powder booths and ovens.
• Lead system development, standard work, and housekeeping initiatives plant-wide.
• Work night shift (9pm-5am) with possible overtime as demand grows.
• Manage backlog of work orders and coordinate with vendors as needed.
