Job summary

SIMONA AMERICA Industries in Archbald, PA is seeking a Night Shift Maintenance Technician to maintain, test, and repair electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems across the manufacturing floor. Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or apprenticeship in a technical field.
• 3–5 years of proven experience in electrical/electronics, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic fields.
• Three years of computer experience and PLC programming.
• Ability to read drawings, schematics and perform precise measurements.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical/electronic equipment.
• Plans and applies electrical/electronic and mechanical theories and safe operation principles.
• Installs, starts up and shuts down equipment per safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
• Advises operators and line mechanics on procedures and safe operation.
• Maintains maintenance records and performs preventive maintenance.
