Job summary

RR Donnelley in Newark, DE is seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician on the night shift to keep our 24/7 production lines running. You will perform preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshoot high-speed automated machinery, and support production teams to maximize uptime.

Responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, performing repairs, and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associates Degree, technical certification, or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to speak and communicate effectively utilizing the English language.
• Powered Industrial Truck Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Primary functions: provide production support, troubleshoot technical problems, perform corrective and preventive maintenance to maximize throughput and efficiency.
• Effectively diagnose mechanical, electrical, network, and computer hardware/software in assigned area (facility, machinery, equipment, etc.).
• Make timely and accurate repairs, as necessary, during production
• Utilize illustrated parts breakdown manuals and operational manuals in the repair, modification and maintenance of equipment.
• Preventative Maintenance (PM) activities in accordance with the preventive maintenance plan.
• Administrative tasks including inventory control, reporting, and training of new technicians.
• Housekeeping duties and other general duties as assigned.
