Job summary

Winpak is seeking a Maintenance Electrician for its South Chicago Heights, IL facility on the night shift. You will troubleshoot, repair, install, and improve electrical systems that keep production running safely and efficiently.

You’ll work with PLCs, motor drives, and various control systems, providing hands-on leadership and training to maintenance staff while adhering to food-packaging safety standards and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing/industrial setting.
• Ability to troubleshoot three-phase power and low/high voltage systems.
• Experience with PLCs, motor drives, and analog/digital circuitry.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain industrial electrical and electronic systems on production equipment.
• Program and modify PLC systems, microprocessor controls, and related software as needed.
• Read and update electrical schematics, ladder logic, and control-panel docs.
