Job summary

Kellanova in Cary, NC is seeking an Industrial Electrician for an overnight shift (6 pm–6 am) on a 2-2-3 12-hour schedule with every other weekend off. You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems, with emphasis on PLCs.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and knowledge of safety systems; there is a strong focus on documenting work clearly and improving plant efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrated knowledge of behavior-based safety systems.
• Able to sit/stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Previous experience in a food manufacturing plant.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment and PLC knowledge; troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance, and repair.
• Identify root causes of production equipment failures using schematics and interpret electrical/mechanical diagrams.
• Seek ways to improve plant efficiency and communicate with leads and supervisors.
