Job summary

Novolex is seeking an Electrician for nights to support our manufacturing operations. The role requires diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems on a 2-2-3 night schedule, with a strong emphasis on safety and reliability.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting high-voltage equipment up to 480V three-phase, managing drives and PLCs, and reading schematics. The position offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits for an essential manufacturing facility.

Qualifications

• 5 years of High-Voltage systems up to 480 Volt 3-phase power and 500 volt D-C.
• Experience with AC/DC drives and PLCs in a manufacturing facility.
• Strong understanding of electrical theory and basic Ohm's law.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose malfunctioning systems and components using test equipment.
• Inspect electrical systems, identify hazards, and ensure code compliance.
• Repair or replace wiring and equipment with hand/power tools.
• Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures.
• Test system continuity with meters to ensure safety and compatibility.
