Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc in Sumter, South Carolina, United States invites applications for a Tech, Equipment Maintenance role. You will operate, maintain, and optimize production equipment to meet performance and quality standards while minimizing downtime.

The position requires a High School diploma or GED, experience with mechanical maintenance and PLCs, and the ability to work 3 on/2 off night shifts from 8:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. Steel-toe shoes are required; background checks and eye exam may apply.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Maintenance/Mechanical experience required or proficiency.
• 2 years mechanical experience preferred.
• 6-12 months manufacturing experience desired.
• Familiar with PLCs, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Able to work autonomously and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate, optimize, and maintain assigned production equipment.
• Meet and exceed production standards while maintaining quality.
• Minimize downtime and maintain budgeted waste levels.
• Maintain equipment logs and document downtime and maintenance problems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and start up equipment.
• Monitor inventories and safety guards; ensure clean work area.
• Follow safety, environmental procedures, and Quality System Requirements.
• Support upstream and downstream operations and perform rework as needed.
• Work effectively in a team environment.
