Job summary

Standard Textile seeks an Electrical/Mechanical Technician to perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on all equipment. You will troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform preventative maintenance to the building and machines, including work related to PLC drives and VFDs.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, with an Associate’s degree in Industrial Electricity/Electronics preferred and 2 years of industrial maintenance experience (including welding) preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Industrial Electricity/Electronics preferred.
• 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance (including welding) preferred.
• Knowledge of 3‑phase motor wiring, starters and electrical systems required.
• Knowledge of PLC programming, drives and control systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions.
• Perform preventative maintenance to the building and machines.
• Perform work related to PLC drives and VFD (variable frequency drives).
• Maintain spare part inventory.
• Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
