Job summary

Prysmian Encore Wire in McKinney, TX is seeking an Electrician to maintain and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. You will apply knowledge to diagnose malfunctions and restore operation on the plant floor.

The role offers a night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule, with starting pay of $30-$38 per hour plus a $2 per hour night diff. The ideal candidate has a 2-year technical degree or apprenticeship and 3-5 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or accredited apprenticeship required.
• 3-5 years experience in electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic fields.
• Knowledge of electrical/electronic components and diagnostic instruments.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical/electronic equipment.
• Plans and applies knowledge of codes, materials and equipment operation.
• Installs, starts up and shuts down equipment per safety procedures.
• Maintains maintenance records for identified equipment.
• Performs other related duties as required.
