Job summary

Prysmian is seeking an Electrical Control Technician in McKinney, TX to maintain electrical reliability of production equipment. You will apply advanced diagnostics, with a strong safety focus, to keep manufacturing operations performing at a high standard.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting of motors, drives, circuits, and control systems, plus experience with PLC/HMI systems and industrial networking. Competitive starting pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

Strong technical knowledge of AC and DC drive systems.
Thorough understanding of speed feedback devices and control loops.
Working knowledge of Ethernet-based communications and industrial networks.
Proficiency with PLC and HMI systems, including navigation and edits.
Hands-on experience with electrical diagnostic tools and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

Troubleshooting, repairing, and restoring machinery and electrical systems across production areas.
Maintaining electrical infrastructure including drives, motors, sensors, and control systems.
Diagnosing faults in motors, drives, circuits, and plant control systems.
Reading wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals; navigating PLC programs for troubleshooting.
Supporting Ethernet communications and device connections; performing tests with diagnostic tools.
