Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Seasonal Registered Nurse for its Medical ICU, with a night shift at $62/hour. The assignment runs from September 20, 2026 to April 3, 2027, and requires RN licensure, an Associate Degree, ACLS and BCLS within 30 days of start.

You will work a minimum of 72 hours per pay period and four weekend shifts every four weeks, with two holiday shifts during the 32-week period. Occasional floating to nearby facilities may be required to cover emergent staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Texas (RN)
• Associate Degree in Nursing required
• ACLS within 30 days of start date
• BCLS within 30 days of start date
• 1+ year ICU experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in ICU
• Performs procedures and documents care in the medical record
• Educates patients and families about condition, plan, medications and follow-up
• Ensures safety and quality by collaborating with multidisciplinary team and implementing evidence-based practices
• Assists with ongoing process improvement initiatives to meet quality measures
