Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Registered Nurse for a seasonal PRN ICU assignment on the night shift. The program runs September 20, 2026 through April 3, 2027, with a pay rate of $62/hour.

You will support ICU patients, float within close geography as needed, and participate in a four-weekend schedule period plus holiday shifts per department needs. Qualified candidates will have 1+ year ICU experience, an Associate Degree, and RN licensure.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required within 30 days of start date.
• RN license with active registration in the state.
• 1+ year ICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in ICU.
• Document care in the medical record promptly and accurately.
• Educate patients and families about condition, plan, medications and follow-up.
• Teach non-medical follow-up measures and healthy lifestyle changes.
• Engage in evidence-based practices to improve quality measures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care.
