Medical City Dallas is seeking a Seasonal Night Shift ICU Registered Nurse for a 32-week assignment. The RN coordinates patient care with the care team, documents in the chart, and educates patients and families about conditions and plans.

You will participate in quality initiatives and work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive, compassionate care. The role requires an RN with an Associate Degree, ACLS and BCLS within 30 days of start date, and at least 1 year ICU experience.

Qualifications

• ACLS required within 30 days of start date.
• BCLS required within 30 days of start date.
• RN (Registered Nurse) credential with current licensure.
• Associate Degree in Nursing or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with physicians and care team.
• Performs procedures and documents care in the medical record.
• Educates patients and families about condition, plan of care, medications, and follow-up.
• Teaches non-medical follow-up measures such as diet and exercise.
• Contributes to evidence-based practice and quality improvement.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team to customize and deliver treatment plans.
