Job summary

Beacon Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Intermediate Care Center at Elkhart General Hospital in Elkhart, IN. This full-time night position (0.9 FTE, 36 hrs/wk) reports to the Manager and supports healing through skilled nursing care and collaboration with the care team.

You’ll assess patient needs, implement and evaluate plans of care, and maintain high-quality, compassionate nursing services during night shifts.

Qualifications

• BSN degree required.
• Current Indiana RN license.
• BSN within five years of employment or certification in specialty must be pursued.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and implement/ evaluate plans of care.
• Perform priority nursing procedures safely and legally.
• Develop or revise care plans based on data and patient needs.
• Document assessments and outcomes accurately and timely.
• Delegate to staff based on acuity and scope of practice.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure quality care.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
