Magnum Ice Cream Co. is seeking a Machine Operator in the Covington, VA area to run production lines and ensure quality. The role requires flexibility for night shifts and adherence to safety and GMP standards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates mechanical aptitude through experience with machinery.
• Ability to read and understand written instructions and keep accurate records.
• Ability to work various hours and shifts (8h/10h/12h).
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds several times per hour.

Responsibilities

• Set up machine for production including assembling freezers and parts, sanitize lines, and adjust to formula specs.
• Comply with GMP/quality procedures and charting.
• Monitor product specs (weight, size, speed, dates) and maintain quality.
• Oversee line operations and assist wrapper operators/hand-packers as needed.
• Report problems to Supervisors and participate in continuous improvement activities.
