Job summary

Magnum Ice Cream Co. is seeking a night-shift logistics operator at its Covington, VA site. The role covers end‑to‑end factory logistics, including inbound receiving, staging, and outbound shipping for FG, with inventory accuracy and SAP workflow management.

The candidate will perform cycle counts, palletization, and use of warehouse systems, while supporting safety, quality, and cost‑saving initiatives. Evening/night shifts require flexibility and reliability.

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• 2 years of warehouse experience with SAP or similar inventory system.
• 2–3 years of general manufacturing/shipping & receiving experience; proficiency with Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Inbound receiving of materials and finished goods.
• Scan, tag and inventory inbound receipts into ambient, refrigerated and frozen warehouses.
• Staging materials to support production operations and manage returns.
• Inventory control and cycle counting with accurate movement of inventory.
• Palletization of finished goods and outbound shipping.
• Develop and document SOPs and training for information systems and processes.
• Support integration of system and procedural changes at the Covington facility.
• Support safety and housekeeping practices; enforce safety requirements.
• Participate in Plant-wide WCM activities and training.
• Operate materials handling equipment after certification.
• Maintain GMP compliance and 5S organization.
