Job summary

The Magnum Ice Cream Company in Rock Hill, SC is seeking a Machine Operator to run production equipment and ensure quality and cost effectiveness on the line. This role supports trimming waste, improving efficiency, and maintaining safety standards on the manufacturing floor.

You will work a night shift, with pay starting at $27.68 per hour plus a $0.75 night shift differential, and potential increases with experience.

Qualifications

• Requires mechanical aptitude and ability to operate machinery.
• Must pass on-site proctored skills assessment.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to learn all job functions quickly.
• Read and record information accurately.
• Able to work 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Set up production machinery, assemble components, sanitize lines, adjust to specs.
• Follow GMP procedures and monitor product specs (weight, size, speed, dates).
• Detect malfunctions and coordinate with supervision/maintenance.
• Supervise line work with wrappers and hand-packers; assist where needed.
• Participate in TPM and continuous improvement processes.
• Move supplies and fill in for other roles as required.
