Job summary

Ohio Machinery Co. is seeking a supervisor for the Bolivar Hydraulic Cylinder Shop. The role focuses on scheduling and prioritizing work, assisting in customer quotes, and reviewing work orders before invoicing.

You will engage with internal and external customers and support the Complete Hydraulic Component Service program. The position requires 3–5 years in hydraulic component repair and 2–5 years of supervisory experience, with strong communication and computer skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Three to five years’ experience in hydraulic component repair: cylinder, pump, motor, and/or valve.
• Must have a working knowledge of hydraulic cylinders.
• Must have Two - Five years’ prior supervisory experience
• Must be able to handle multiple work assignments
• Must have good computer skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be able to prioritize work and technician assignments
• Must be able to work closely with other internal and external customers to ensure a quality product.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service and product support through management of all aspects of the service department.
• Develop and manage relationships with customers, employees, salesmen and various departments within Ohio Machinery.
• Receive calls from customers on a daily basis concerning the price and schedule for machine repair or service, technical information, recognition of warranty contracts, equipment transportation needs, and other issues.
• Emphasize safety and adherence to Ohio Machinery Safety Policies and procedures to drive a zero-incident culture.
