Horner Industrial Group in West Chester, OH seeks a Hydraulic Cylinder Service Coordinator & Estimator to manage daily shop workflow, prepare accurate estimates, and provide technical support to customers. This role acts as the central communication point between customers, technicians, and internal departments to ensure efficient job flow and exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Experience in an industrial repair shop environment (hydraulics).
• Hands-on hydraulic cylinder repair, rebuilding and troubleshooting.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service and written/verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates for hydraulic cylinder repairs, rebuilds, and replacements.
• Review incoming jobs, assess scope, and coordinate shop workflow.
• Serve as main contact for customers via phone, email, and in person.
• Provide technical guidance on hydraulic issues, options, and timelines.
• Maintain customer relationships through regular communication and follow-up.
• Schedule with shop technicians to ensure timely turnaround and on-time delivery.
• Track job progress and communicate updates or changes to customers.
• Maintain organized job files and documentation for all work and estimates.
• Collaborate with scheduling, shipping, purchasing, and technicians to improve efficiency.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and workflow optimization.
