Job summary

Cleveland Clinic seeks a Facilities Maintenance Technician II to join our hospital facilities team at the main campus. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and related systems in a complex healthcare environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of hands-on repair experience or formal training, with willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as part of a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of experience in HVAC, general electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting or mechanical repair, or completion of a formal training program, or military Utilitiesman/Builder/Machinist Mate experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment, structures, and systems.
• Perform minor maintenance repair work in electrical, plumbing, HVAS, carpentry, and/or paint.
• Perform utility and structural repairs.
• Document and maintain records of inspection and work performed.
