Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. seeks a Health, Safety and Environment Associate to help develop procedures and guidance within the HSE program. The role is part of the Environment Health and Safety function, safeguarding employees and surrounding communities.

You will work on monitoring performance, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives. The position requires a High School Diploma or GED with several years of relevant experience, strong MS Office skills, and excellent organizational abilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3-4 years of job-related experience.
• Comprehensive understanding of processes, procedures, systems and concepts within the job function.
• Ability to evaluate and communicate unusual and/or complex content clearly.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Advanced organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional support in monitoring injury, illness, and incident-related performance.
• Assist with development and implementation of strategic solutions to improve performance.
• Verify permits, licenses, applications and records for compliance.
• Present inspection records and violations with recommended solutions.
• Inform management, clients and employees of advanced control regulations and findings.
• Assist in cost reduction and quality improvement initiatives.
• Gather and analyze data to identify and solve complex problems.
