Job summary

Universal Health Services — Lakewood Ranch Medical Center is seeking a Security Guard (Class D License) for night shifts to maintain hospital safety and security. You will monitor premises, assist staff, patients, and visitors, and document incidents as needed.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of security experience in acute care, and timely completion of IAHSS procedures, BLS, CPI within 90 days of hire, with a Class D license required.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED equivalent.
• Must be able to handle stressful situations.
• 1 year of security officer experience in an acute care setting.
• Certification for Safety and Security Procedures IAHSS training within 90 days of hire.
• BLS within 90 days of hire.
• CPI within 90 days of hire.
• Class D Security License required.

Responsibilities

• Secures the premises from unauthorized entry.
• Provides support and assistance to staff, patients, and visitors.
• Prepares and submits reports in an accurate and timely manner.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.
