Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Public Safety Officer for Glenbrook Hospital in Glenview, IL. This full-time role covers night hours (10pm–7:30am) with an hourly pay range of $18.84–$27.32, and duties include patrols, incident reporting, directing traffic, and assisting visitors.

Required: High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year in a customer-focused service role; preferred: security-related experience and healthcare exposure. CPI and CPR certifications within stated timelines are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year experience in a customer-focused service-based organization.

Responsibilities

• Patrols assigned areas of facilities and grounds on foot or in vehicle per schedule.
• Reports incidents or losses and involves police if needed.
• Responds to service calls in a timely, safe, professional, courteous manner.
• Welcomes customers and provides directions to navigate hospital grounds.
• Directs vehicle traffic to prevent congestion and enforces parking rules.
• Restrains unruly individuals when necessary and coordinates with law enforcement.
