Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in a customer-focused service-based organization.
• Valid Illinois Firearm Owner’s Identification Card within 90 days of start date; CPR certification within 90 days; a valid driver’s license with required auto liability coverage.

Responsibilities

• Patrols assigned areas of facilities and grounds on foot or by vehicle.
• Reports incidents or potential loss and involves police when needed.
• Responds to service calls promptly, provides directions to patients/visitors, and escorts them if necessary.
• Directs vehicle traffic and ensures loading docks/ambulance zones are clear.
• Physically restrains unruly individuals when required and coordinates with police during removals.
• Inspects doors, windows, alarms and equipment; notifies personnel of problems.
• Investigates thefts/accidents and documents findings clearly.
