Job summary

Endeavor Health seeks a Public Safety Officer for the Glenbrook Hospital campus in Glenview, IL. This full-time night shift (10pm–7:30am) covers 40 hours weekly, with an hourly pay range of $19.22–$27.87 determined by experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities include patrolling, incident reporting, escorting patients and visitors, directing vehicle traffic, and assisting police when needed. Required: HS diploma or GED and at least one year in a customer-focused service role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of one year experience in a customer-focused service-based organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide unarmed uniformed security/safety services.
• Patrol facilities and investigate unusual occurrences.
• Report incidents and assist police when needed.
• Greet customers and provide directions within the hospital.
• Direct traffic and manage parking compliance.
• Physically restrain disruptive individuals when necessary and involve police.
• Protect valuables and monitor lost and found items.
• Check doors, alarms and equipment and report issues.
• Investigate and document thefts and incidents.
