Endeavor Health is seeking a Public Safety Officer at Elmhurst Hospital, Elmhurst, IL for a full-time night shift (6pm–6am). You will perform unarmed security duties, patrol facilities, respond to incidents, and assist patients and staff with directions and escorts as needed.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and at least one year in a customer-focused service role. CPR, FOID, driver’s license, CPI within 6 months, and healthcare security experience are preferred.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of one year experience in a customer-focused service-based organization.
• Knowledge of security and safety procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Patrols assigned areas of facilities and grounds on foot or in a vehicle as scheduled.
• Reports incidents or loss of property and involves police if necessary.
• Responds to service calls in a timely, safe, professional manner.
• Welcomes customers and provides directions to facilities and escorts as needed.
• Directs vehicle traffic and maintains clear loading docks and ambulances zones.
• Physically restrains unruly individuals and involves police when required.
• Protects valuables and monitors lost and found items.
• Checks doors, windows and equipment, notifies issues promptly.
• Investigates thefts/accidents and documents evidence.
