Qualifications

• Preferred Associates degree in Operating Engineering.
• Experience with water treatment for heating and cooling systems.
• Certification: 2nd Class Engineers Certificate for Air Condition/Refrigeration (required if Orleans Parish).
• Preferred: 2nd Class Engineers Certificate for Boilers & Air Condition.

Responsibilities

• Respond to maintenance requests for central plant equipment.
• Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot engineering systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and document activities.
• Run rounds and inspect equipment for efficiency.
• Maintain Energy Management System schedules.
• Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
